To ensure safe and efficient use of the QuikBrace machine please note the following:

• The QuikBrace can be operated by any sized air compressor that has its own built-in regulator.
• Adjust the compressor regulator to to control the amount of pressure applied to floorboards.
• Check that all screws and fittings are tight before each use. Use a 6mm and 5mm Allen key to tighten.
• Keep air hose away from spike plate. SPIKES ARE VERY SHARP – HANDLE WITH CARE.
• Keep air hose connections and unit clean and free of any dirt/debris.
• Operate and test the QuikBrace for any air leaks.
• Spend a few minutes operating and becoming familiar with how the control valve lever works. Note how the lever drives the spike block and the fact that the air cylinder extends up to 150mm.

Before Commencing Work

• Strike the spike block with a mallet to ensure the spikes are well-anchored before operations.
• Pull the lever BACK before starting and release the lever SLOWLY to change the pressure.
