The easy wood floor laying method
The intuitive design and proprietary function of the QuikBrace™ means that it is easy to use. Suited to any level of experience (from home handy man, flooring professional and expert tradesman),the steps are simple and practical, and get the right results for your flooring projects.

When using the QuikBrace™, you only need one person, not two to complete your standard flooring job. The functionality and ease of handling of the QuikBrace™ means you can allocate the ‘man’ time of one person to other tasks, while a dedicated resource uses the QuikBrace™ to lay flooring to the highest standard, in a shorter timeframe. Once you start using the QuikBrace™, you can stop worrying about keeping gaps closed once the clamp is released.
Here’s how the proprietary technology in the QuikBrace™ works:
- The u-shaped head acts as an extra pair of hands, holding boards in place
- Spikes grab into any wooden subfloor – anchoring the tool as soon as it is placed where you need it
- There is no manual gear ratchet system – so effectiveness does not rely on your strength or energy
- Force is driven by air compression – this holds the board in place continuously and with no effort on your part
The QuikBrace™ comes in a handy toolbox and has 4 pieces for quick assembly:
- A wall foot that can finish against the wall within 4mm for the last board.
- A U shaped head sits on top of the board and engages on top of the Tung. The QuikBrace™ has been developed in a way that does not restrict any fixing method. The QuikBrace™ can be easily and quickly turned around to push or pull the boards into place. The QuikBrace™ can be anchored and fixed utilizing the same joist or batten.
- A heavy-duty spike block secures the QuikBrace™ in to any sub floor. The QuikBrace™ can be inserted into the wooden subfloors to create a substantial grab effect, especially with chipboard. A gentle tap with a rubber mallet can be very effective when using the QuikBrace™. The QuikBrace™ can also be speedily set up for concrete overlay Installations (see Documentation for detailed instructions).
- The QuikBrace™ is powered by air and can be used with conventional air compressors (not supplied). The QuikBrace™ enables the user to have some control over the degrees of pressure applied. The QuikBrace™ also has attachments for the air hose in and can also run a line out for a gun or another QuikBrace™ if you have more than one team laying floor at the same time.
- The QuikBrace™ handle has been designed for total balance and comfort.
