Because the QuikBrace™ proprietary technology uses compressed air as a controlled power source, it is fast, strong and clean. It really is the no-nonsense way to lay floorboards over plywood.

Simply place the QuikBrace™ on top of the floorboards that are to be installed - with the board grabbers of the U Shaped Head over the edge of the board to be clamped.

Locate the QuikBrace™ board grabbers above the tongue. Now using the QuikBrace™ handle, slightly tilt the machine towards the sub-floor to assist the spikes to infuse into the sub floor - while tilting operate the control valve lever to apply a small amount of pressure.

Once the QuikBrace™ spikes have penetrated the floor, the necessary pressure can be provided and adjusted by turning the control valve. At this stage, the only thing left is to clamp up, fix off and move along the row.

You will notice the QuikBrace™ spike block lifting / tilting as the clamping pressure comes to a head. It can be held in position by putting your foot on top of the spike block. This also allows the QuikBrace™ spikes to penetrate deeper into the subfloor.
